Patchbanks presents Electric Circus Vol.1, an original debut stems collection featuring live instrumental performances in the genres of rare grooves and underground disco. Circa 1970s: Deep in the trenches of city streets, a lo-fi proto-house sound was emanating in the underground scene that later built the foundation of today’s thumping four-on-the-floor electronic dance music.
From erratic moog leads to phasing and modulated acoustical instruments, there was no limit to creativity in this analog domain. This collection contains an exclusive playlist of drumless compositions including single stem recordings of rhodes, clavinet, moog, analog synths, sgrand piano, electric guitar, electric bass, electravibes, vibraphone and other instruments used in 70s music production. Each stem recording was processed and pre-mastered with premier class-A outboard gear and treated with an EQ-tape cut for warmth and saturation. Drums are not included.
